EPISODE 2
Episode 2 was originally going to revolve around Ella's teenage cousin coming to visit. Ella was really excited about the visit because, when they were kids, Ella and her cousin got along really well. But when her cousin arrived, Ella discovered her cousin had changed.
She acted kind of snotty.
And she kind of looked like she slept in a tanning bed every night.
She was hard to get along with.
And worst of all, she hated all of Ella's favorite TV shows!
One day, Ella decides to show her cousin the neighborhood. They head for a park.
Things go okay... at first.
Coincidentally, Gus and Gray are at the park, too.
Gus sees Ella and goes over to talk to her.
Gray follows, and begins conversing with the Cousin.
At first it's just casual conversation...
But then they start flirting with each other.
Uh oh!
Eventually Ella notices.
And she is not pleased. Not just because she has a crush on Gray, but because she knows that Gray has a girlfriend! That two-timing $#%&! And she's furious that her cousin gets Gray's attention but Ella can't.
While Gray and the Cousin are being flirtatious, Gus and Ella hatch a plan -- they decide to call Gray's girlfriend and invite her to the park. (That's her, above.)
Here she comes!
Gray's all, Heyyy, it's my girlfriend!
And Cousin gets left in the dust.
Poor Cousin!
Ella plan has succeeded! But now Cousin is heartbroken. Nice going, Ella!

I filmed these scenes while I was still working on episode 1. By the time I got around to filming episode 2, this plotline no longer held any interest for me. Plus I'd filmed a lot of it on a community lot -- where it's very hard to film things! -- and didn't want to have to go back and film more stuff for these scenes, or reshoot them entirely. In the end, I decided to keep the "Cousin visit" idea, but make the cousin about 9 years younger... enter: Bethany! (Episode 3)
