EPISODE 9
Episode 9 was originally going to be about Ella's relatives -- her mom's brother and his pregnant wife and their cat -- coming to stay with the Bradleys for a week or two. Whether they were trying to find a house in the area, or whether they were just there so they could attend Aunt Kathy's wedding... well, I never got that far. But here are some screencaps from the scenes I shot.
Here we have the aunt (in white) and the uncle (in yellow). They've just arrived at the house.
Ella is thrilled to have a cat staying at her house, so she doesn't mind that her aunt and uncle are taking over her bedroom for the week. (The plotline with her getting the new bed was still intact.)
Ella isn't the only family member who loves the cat. Caitlin does, too.

Here we have Ella showing her aunt and uncle where they're going to stay...
Now that she's been displaced from her bedroom, Ella must sleep on the couch. Sure, she has no blankets, but -- well, it's summer. And sure she has no pillow, but... well, that's the least of her problems. Ella quickly discovers that sharing a room with a cat can be anything but peaceful.
The cat's relentless howling keeps Ella awake. Is he hungry? Maybe. Ella gets up to feed him.
And while she's feeding him...
He takes over the couch.
I might put Ella's aunt and uncle into a future episode, though I'm not sure if the aunt will still be pregnant or if they'll have a child by then. Orrr maybe we'll never see them again. Except I do love that cat...
