Because it's the first time where you get a healthy dose of mean, snarky, bitchy Lois and cool, collected CK. And the obvious dislike is apparent from the get-go. At least on Lois' end. THIS is what made me fall in love with the show. "You don't work with me, you work for me. I call the shots. I ask the questions. YOU are low man, I am top banana, and that's the way I like it." "You like to be on top. Got it." And then of course there was the skanky Cat, who had it bad for every living thing with a Y chromosome in the office, but especially for the hot new reporter. And it was so sneaky that the writers were able to pull off the "jealousy" thing with Lois... even though it was sort of overshadowed by the headstrong beeotch. It's a hard thing to turn a huge comic book character into an hour tv show, and this one episode showed it was possible. They didn't overplay anything - his story was about an old theater and the people who held memories in it. I don't know... just everything about this episode makes me happy. On that note, praise Dean Cain. Errr, I mean Praise Elvis. :) |
Stealing a Kiss -- Honeymoon In Metropolis The scene where the maid walks in and Clark has to act quickly to make it seem like they're a real couple in the honeymoon suite. I love this for obvious reasons. I remember that this was first episode I watched as an official obsessed FOLC. There was always that sexual tension the first season where you just wanted to see Lois and Clark getting it on, even if it was fake, because let's face it, they're hot together! | ![]() |
![]() | Ouch! -- Operation: Blackout The scene where they're sitting on the bleachers and Jimmy sits down and quickly jumps back up, "I just got a splinter in a very embarrassing place!" This one rocks my world because it's just so hilarious. I love Jimmy. So clumsy and naive and cute... it's almost as good as his famous "HOLD THE ELEVATOR" scene... |
| Seasons Greedings (I have a ton from this one)
1. The scene where Lois drew the hopscotch on the floor with magic marker. "Lois, are those squares in magic marker?" hahahaha! 2. The scene where Lois calls Lucy - "Lucy? It's Lois. I'm just calling to say that you are NOT invited to Christmas dinner tomorrow night! Wellll.... because all the food that I'm going to buy... is MINE AND I'M NOT SHARING!" *click* Dude, it's like evil childhood Lo-Lo. I love it. 3. Perry dancing on his table, and hugging the rats... for obvious reasons. 4. The last scene where they're at the window watching the snow fall down, because it's seriously WAFFy! ;) ![]() | ![]() ![]() |
![]() | The scene where Clark was watching that annoying nature channel that for some odd reason EVERYONE IN METROPOLIS happened to be watching (why though? seriously? I'm curious...) and Lois knocked and came in and basically confessed her feelings for Clark. And she told him that "Just call me Dan"-the-annoying-man-Scardino was history. This scene rocked because it was that one moment where everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Dan was finally gone. Lois admitted her feelings. We all knew Clark loved her. But they were together. And Dan was gone. Hoorah! |
Ordinary People The whoooooole first half. Well, and the second half, but the first half is so cute like especially when they're building the house. It was like a dream come true for fans everywhere. It was like, she knew who he was, and she was okay with it. And he was hot. And they were in love. And on a deserted island. And anything could happen. And he was hot. And yet she was still bitchy Lois. And he was hot. | ![]() |
