I was on the show when I was five. I went with a friend named Phillip. His mom knew someone at the company and was able to get a group of tickets. I remember that I was on the front row. I don't remember what was going on prior to the taping. How they got ready or anything, but I do remember watching everything with interest. Anywho, you know how Rambling Rod collected the buttons on his coat? Well, I brought him one, but at the last minute I decided I wanted to keep it. :) When he came to me to get the button, I refused to give it up. So there he was trying to get a button from a 5 year old. I was so mad and was throwing a fit. I was being majorly bratty. But anyway, I finally decided to go ahead and give it to him. My mom tells me they cut that part of the show out. lol

So then the cartoons. For some reason, on the show I went to they played the same cartoon over and over again. It was Yosemite Sam one with Bugs Bunny. Anyway, I know when the show actually aired it showed different cartoons. By the end of the taping I was having a really good time and didn't want to leave. When I saw the show I was in awe that I was on TV. And no I wasn't a smiley winner. I think Rod wasn't too happy with me. :) So yeah, that's my experience on the show. We used to have a tape, but couldn't tell you where it is now.

I still continued to watch the show for years after. It was one of my favorites.
