28 years ago, Julie and Steve were teenagers in love. But when Julie got pregnant, everything fell apart. Julie, 15, was whisked away by her parents to go live in a home for pregnant teens, and her baby was given up for adoption. While Julie was off having the kid, Steve (who never knew the real reason why Julie left) joined the military and got married to the town's own personal Jessica Rabbit.
Now in her forties, Julie has a good life. She has a successful business and is engaged to a good man. But not a day has gone by that she hasn't thought about that baby she gave up for adoption.
One day, a social worker contacts Julie to let her know that her son wishes to meet her. Julie reconnects with her son in a tearful reunion, but there's more to the story... the son wants to meet his father, which means Julie must contact Steve. Once she does, Julie realizes she still loves Steve and wants to be with him. But wait a second -- she's already engaged! Will she chuck her fiance to be with her high school sweetheart, or will she settle for a stable, but passionless, life?
